    Join us for an overview of what to expect when you deliver at the Providence St. Vincent Medical Center Family Maternity Center. This free live, virtual class is aimed to help familiarize you and your partner to our hospital, answer any questions you may have, and help you feel at ease with what to expect during your labor.

  • Birth & Beyond Class Series: February/March 2024 Due Dates (In-Person) — Session 3 of 6

    This 6-session in-person comprehensive education series will prepare pregnant people and their support person for the birth of your baby all the way through your first few months of postpartum. This pre-baby bundle of classes includes:
    • childbirth preparation
    • newborn care
    • infant feeding

    This series is aimed to help improve your confidence as a new parent, as well as, foster connections with other expecting parents in a similar stage of pregnancy.

  • New Moms’ Group – Providence Portland (In-Person)

    Providence Portland Campus Providence Portland Medical Center, 4805 NE Glisan St, OR, United States

    Join other new moms and their babies to share your joys, and favorite new toys. This free in-person weekly group provides a welcoming environment to share experiences as a new mom and learn about breastfeeding, sleep, postpartum emotions, and other important topics. The group is held weekly all year long at the Providence Portland campus in the Body Works Fitness Center Classroom. Online registration only necessary once. You may register and join at any time after your baby is born.

  • Childbirth Preparation 3-Session Class (Live, Virtual) — Session 3 of 3

    Prepare for the birth of your baby with our virtual childbirth preparation class. This 3-session class provides a live, interactive learning environment with a Providence educator. Join us to learn about labor and delivery, comfort measures, medical procedures, pain management and postpartum. Your registration in this class reserves a spot for both you and a support person to attend. The Zoom access information for the class will be emailed to you 48 hours and 8 hours before the class start date.

A reminder email will be sent to you for the class 48 hours and 8 hours before the class.
