Join this one-hour online workshop taught by an experienced certified perinatal educator who has personally experienced an unplanned cesarean surgery to deliver her first child, then VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) for her second. This is one segment of a comprehensive series to P.R.E.P.A.R.E. through 7 transitional topics from employee to working parenthood.

This class is a focused overview to prepare individuals who are pregnant and their partners for the possibility of a cesarean surgery with the following objectives for participants to:

• identify the acronymn for informed decision making
• state at least 2 reasons for an unplanned cesarean
• choose at least 3 methods to support the recovery of the birthing person

This workshop is to provide information for anyone who would like more information on the topic of cesarean surgery, especially pregnant people. This is not intended to encourage people to schedule an unnecessary cesarean surgery. Refunds may be available on an emergency case-by-case basis.
