    Birth & Beyond Class Series: June 2023 Due Dates (In-Person) — Session 5 of 6

    Join us for this 6-session in-person comprehensive education series that will prepare you and your support person for the birth of your baby all the way through your first year of postpartum. This pre-baby bundle of classes includes all of our most popular classes (childbirth preparation, breastfeeding preparation and newborn care) combined into a series aimed to help improve your confidence as a new parent as well as foster connections with other expecting parents in the same stage of pregnancy.

  • Newborn Care Class

    Newborn Care Class (In-Person)

    Get a complete head-to-toe look at preparing to care for your little one. This in-person newborn care class provides a learning environment with an educator. Topics include newborn appearance, bathing, diapering, safety and answers to common questions. Your registration in this class reserves a spot for both you and a support person to attend. Masks are required. A reminder email will be sent to you for the class 48 hours and 8 hours before the class.

  • Prepare for Cesarean Surgery

    Childbirth Workshop: Overview about Cesarean Surgery aka Belly Birth

    Join this one-hour online workshop taught by a working mom, perinatal educator who has personally experienced an unplanned cesarean surgery with her first, then VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) for her second. This is one part of a series supporting 7 transitional topics from expectant employee to working parenthood.

    Join us for an overview of what to expect when you deliver at the Providence Portland Medical Center Family Maternity Center. This free live, virtual class is aimed to help familiarize you and your partner to our hospital, answer any questions you may have, and help you feel at ease with what to expect during your labor. Your registration in this class reserves a spot for both you and a support person to attend. The Zoom access information for the class will be emailed to you 48 hours and 8 hours before the class.
