Childbirth Workshop
Date: Wednesday, May 17
Time: 1:30 – 2:30 PM

Join this one-hour online workshop taught by a working mom, perinatal educator who has personally experienced an unplanned cesarean surgery with her first, then VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) for her second. This is one part of a series supporting 7 transitional topics from expectant employee to working parenthood.
The class will give a high level overview to prepare individuals who are pregnant and their partners for childbirth by cesarean surgery aka cesarean birth , c-section, or “Belly Birth”:
- reviewing some reasons this procedure may become necessary
- basics of how it is performed
- brief tips on the recovery for the birthing person
This is to provide information for expectant parents and anyone who would like more information on the topic. This is not intended to advocate or encourage people to schedule an unnecessary cesarean surgery. Refunds may be available on an emergency case-by-case basis.
Presenter: Rosa Park Neves (she/they) a CAPPA trained Childbirth Educator, CAPPA Certified New Parent Educator, CPLL certified RETAIN Parental Leave Coach, and the Founder of RP7 Online LLC which exists to support expectant employees transitioning to become working parents.
