Childbirth Workshop
Date: January 30
Location: Online
Join this one-hour online workshop taught by a CAPPA Trained Childbirth Educator and Certified New Parent Educator who has personally experienced an unplanned cesarean surgery with her first, then VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) for her second. This is the first in a series of classes covering aspects to support the transition from expectant to working parenthood.
The class will give a high level overview to prepare individuals who are pregnant and their partners for childbirth by cesarean surgery:
- reviewing some reasons this procedure may become necessary
- basics of how it is performed
- brief tips on the recovery for the birthing person
This is to provide information for expectant parents and anyone who would like more information on the topic. This is not intended to advocate or encourage people to schedule an unnecessary cesarean surgery. Refunds may be available on an emergency case-by-case basis.
Presenter: Rosa Park Neves (she/they) a CAPPA trained Childbirth Educator, Certified New Parent Educator, CPLL trained Parental Leave Coach, and the Founder of RP7 Online LLC which exists to support expectant employees transition to becoming working parents.
